Because you are in the town centre, you can just stroll down the street
to our local butcher for the best tasting Irish beef, lamb or pork or to our
local baker for the wonderful, home made soda breads, scones and apple pies
(just like mama made) or visit the local market for the fresh fruit and
vegetables. Not to forget our many pubs, both old and new, for that pint of
Guinness or Irish whiskey in the evening, to be enjoyed with Irish traditional
music and “craic” right on your doorstep---no driving!
Killorglin, sitting right on the Ring of Kerry and bang in the centre of the
Kingdom of Kerry, is ideally located for just about anything you would wish to
do. You can have any amount of peace and quiet or excitement and activity.
Spectacular scenery, golden Blue Flag sandy beaches, Championship Links golf
courses, wild salmon rivers, brown trout lakes and Ireland’s highest mountain
surround Killorglin. For the artist, poet, nature lover and bird watcher the

Kerry is a special place. It has a spectacular coastline with the Atlantic waves

warmth, which creates such wonderful tropical vegetation. It is both the most
